Ek rupaiyya!!!
Well, I have question for you... The question is not so costly..... Only of Rs. 1 /-
Once A, B & C went to a restaurant. After having tea and light refreshment they asked for bill, the amount of bill was Rs. 30 /- They decided to pay the bill
amount on equal share. Everybody took out Rs. 10 /- from their pocket and paid the bill. They were yet sitting and gossiping in restaurant, Suddenly the
waiter realized that the amount of their bill was Rs. 25 /- not Rs. 30 /- He took Rs. 5 /- from counter and decided to return them. Then he thought they are 3
how will they share Rs. 5 /- ? So he has decided to keep Rs. 2 /- to him and return only Rs. 3 /- to them.
He came to their table and returned them Rs. 3 /- with apology. Everybody took Rs. 1 /- and put in their pockets.
Now my question is first time everyone paid Rs. 10 /- later they get Rs 1 /- refunded. So everybody paid Rs. 9 /-
Rs. 9 * 3 = Rs. 27 /-
The waiter put Rs 2 /- in his pocket.
Rs. 27 + Rs 2 = 29
So...... Where is the remaining Rs. 1 /-
Find out where is the remaining Rs. 1 /- OR everybody has to pay Rs. 1 /- to me :P

The 1 buck went to the sollution being stupid. Now let's look at this again, everyone gave Rs. 9 to make up Rs. 27, obvious so far. Now it should be clear that the waiters Rs. 2 does not matter, it's like a part of the Rs. 27. The only amount which really matters is the Rs. 3 which A, B & C ended up with, and 27+3 =30. Clever attempt, but not nice. I think you could have done more mathematically pleasing things with decimal truncation than this.
i think all of us here noe what that 27+3 is 30. but the waiter gave bak three rupees that equals rs 28. now the waiter has 2 bucks which tells us that 28+2 equals thirty. i think thats the answer. okay another try... divide 15 by 3 u get 8.33 then add one coz they all got one bak...so its not 9*27 but 9.33*27 which is 27.99 and then u add the 2 bucks which tells us its 30. now the question is whered the one paisa go? lolz
u divide 25 by 3 not 15
Centuries old this question, so I guess everyone knows it....
But still, felt nostalgic readin it here. Makes me anna be a kid all over
School was fun!
i saw this in a telugu movie.this question i mean.
it is like this I think. 25 Rs. they paid. 3 of them had 3 Rs. back. 25+3=28. And then the 2 Rs.
28+2=30.
Like when we count backwards on our fingers 10, 9,8,7,6--6+5=11
This is also the similar sort of a trick. Something is not counted correctly.
Do tell what the correct answer to this is.
