We have a room with a bulb fixed to its ceiling. Outside the room we have three switches A,B,C.
One of them is for the bulb inside the room
what we are supposed to do is to find that which one out of the three switches is the one for the bulb inside the room?
simple is'nt it ? just keep lookin whether the bulb glowes with A turned on ,or B or C.
But the problem comes with some constraints:-
you are allowed to go inside the room only once (its locked from outside). And you just have to use your brain i.e. without any equipment.

well, what are you people up to?
this puzzle is making rounds among the interviews being conducted by a whole lot of s/w firms making campus recruitments . Even my friends have had to face the problem ? Well, this is a "lateral thinking" based puzzle . You have to make use of the fact that after keeping a bulb on for sometime , it becomes hot so you will know .
I have figured out the answer for this one
What we have to do is that 1st switch the switch A on and leave it on for some 15-20 minutes. We can do that as the question does'nt say anything about a time limit. After that turn off A and switch on B go in checkout the bulb. If the bulb is glowing then B is the correct switch if not in that case touch the bulb, if it is hot then the correct switch is A else it is C i.e if the bulb is not glowing and it is not hot.
